I apologize if this is not the appropriate forum. If not, ding me accordingly. I assure you, this is NOT a veiled solicitation for offers and I will not identify the specific pieces here. I legit need help.

I have a modest collection of knives but several of them have very good value. I am going to sell some of these to help fund a retirement trip to Southeast Asia, but have no idea what price to ask in the sale forum after I upgrade my membership. Can anyone steer me in the direction of an impartial individual (perhaps in DFW so I can meet in person) to give me an idea of how to value these pieces.

Thank you kindly in advance.

You need a Gold membership or higher to as for values here. You would also need a Gold membership or higher to sell knives here.

Yes, definitely planning to upgrade this week. Just needed to be pointed in the right direction. Thanks!

EDIT: Done!

I would suggest posting pics of the knives here in this thread. If you do, maybe edit the title of the thread by adding something like "pics posted". Lots of people read General Discussion, and we all like to look at people's knife collections, which can increase the chances of getting valuations, or advice on where to find them.

Since you're now a Gold member you can post pictures directly from your computer instead of using a photo hosting site.

Depending on how many knives you want evaluated you could take pics of multiple knives in each pic. Be sure to add any info you have about each knife like brand/maker and model number.
