Hi All,

New to this site. First post. Full disclosure - I'm not a knife collector/enthusiast. I'm a retiree helping someone that has found themselves with a 600+ knife collection thru an estate inheritance. So any inaccurate information I might mention is entirely my mistake due to inexperience. I've been helping to inventory the knives and sort thru hundreds of receipts, then trying to research so we can find buyers. Everything is new/never used/old-new stock, whatever you want to call it. No idea why the collection was gathered...it's mostly very nice and often expensive purchases, but can't get a handle on what the purpose was. Most purchases seem to be retail thru the typical sellers, including some off this forum. Things like Bark River (100), Spyderco (47), CRKT (32), Buck (26), Zero Tolerance (13), Microtech (5), Fiddleback (6), Case 24), Kiku (6), etc....on & on. Purchases were made b/t 2014-2020.

But...there are some real gems. Or so it seems to me....

3 Promethean Salem Straubs from 2014. A Firecracker Fighter, Shinjuku Scoundrel and a Deschain Dagger. I emailed the maker on his web site, but no response. I'm interested if anyone might know how many of each were made? Unsure what the owner might do with these...we've no idea what their value might be now (other than what's listed on the purchase receipt from the maker), or perhaps hold onto them.

Another one is a Fujin by Kiku Matsuda. receipt lists this one as purchased in 2014 for $1760.

I've posted/sold a handful recently on eBay...Microtech Jagdkommando, Kiku Blast, a Fallkniven, 3 Entreks, but I'm not interested in running hundreds of eBay posts if I can avoid it. I'm wondering if there might be any dealers here that might have an interest in a bulk buy of something like the all of the Bark River's, Sog's, whatever. I have everything inventoried, so lists can be provided if interested.

Thanks in advance....also, feel free to redirect me if this needs to go into a different forum thread.

Sounds like you have some work ahead of you. But talk of sales on this Forum require a higher membership level. Try also posting here:

With a Gold membership here you can ask values of particular knives or the lot as well as sell here.

most dealers will charge you a commission of around 30%, which might be worth it for you.
