I just watched a video on youtube about how hinderer came up with his logo. He grew up raising horses on a farm, and also met his wife who was also a horse farmer. He was also a firefighter for 10 years, which is why his logo a horse head surrounded by flames. Two important parts of his life. Thought that was a creative design.
Well anyway, was wondering if you all know why some of the other knife companies have the names they do and why their logos? Especially Spyderco and the bug.

I just found out about spyderco at www.knife-depot.com/learn/spyderco . Once I read it I realized I've learned about it before and just forgot :jerkit: spyderco came from Sal's first creation for jewelers the portable hand. It resembles a spider so the company name came after it was created. And the bug of course is a spider.

The vintage German brand Bruckmann used a bridge logo. "Brucke" is German for bridge.
