I was recently browseing collectorknives.net and every knife was in either mint or EDC condition. What does mint and EDC condition mean? What are the differences? I know this is a silly question, but I just want to know. Thanks.
edc as applied to gec is a factory i.d. seconds are marked with an s on tang & only sold to store employees. cosmetic blems [pin set too deep, or handle colors show too much diff.] are marked with a 2 on tang & can be sold by dist. as long as actual photo of that knife is'nt posted on dist inventory site.
gec correction the 2s are only sold to employees & the s goes to dist. sorry about the confusion seems like gec could have used a easier way to denote these knives. 2 & s are too much alike.
