At the bottom of a two story escalator in Grand Central Station I saw an older woman laying on her back, a younger woman was bending over her but wasn't able to lift her up. Ah ha, I thought, her scarf is caught in the escalator, this is going to be a good knife PR day. So I run over to them with my hand on the handle of a BRKT Little Creek in my pocket. I got to them quickly only to find she wasn't wearing a scarf. So I grumbled to myself and stepped over her and got on the escalator :grumpy:
Just kidding, of course. The woman helping her had a bad shoulder and I was able to easily lift her up and she was fine with no apparent injuries. But had she been wearing a scarf, it coulda easily have gotten caught and I'm sure she woulda been happy that a nearby citizen was carrying a knife
