When I last time wrote about this call me a troll ( or something like this ). Finger choil ( what is actualy meaning of this word? ), 1095 steel for field use was some of arguing questions. I mentioned Ontario TAK 1 model but same is for all similar knives. Sog changed his Seal series, Esse changed design of knife and steel. Sure not because of my writing!
Does anybody else sees this or just me?

It's clear to me. He wrote about things he didn't understand about knives and he was called a troll then a bunch of knife makers changed their designs because of it.

Cmon guys, it is that simple.

No, i'm didn't want to argue about anything. In 2015 are coming new knives from ESEE and SOG. ESEE now uses 440c steel and SOG finally put " choil " in right place- on opposite side of the blade. They say that is because from " real world experiences a " or something like this. Personally i dont like Seal strike model but Seals probably know what they need. Maybe it's how market works and i don't care. All i'm saying that ESEE type of knifes are not for " real world " use as for exampe Bark River. Gunny doesn't have " choil " but works exellent. And those knives have similar prices ( ESEE and BR ) in my country. ESEE maybe looks great on uniform but those knives need far more better design. That is only my opinion not definition of what is good knife.

Wait a minute. You pay the same price for an Esee and a bark river? Dude, most esees cost 1/3 of bark river knives in the US. Either you're getting a really good deal on bark rivers or a really bad deal on esees.

For a long while people have asked ESEE to come out with stainless models. It is something that has been in the works, not because of anything you have said. They are still making their 1095 offerings, but for those who live in corrosive environments, stainless is preferred.
