I was on Ka Bars website last night looking at beckers. I noticed that the prices for the 9,11 and 2 are way more then what I paid for mine. I purchased all three of my knives online from a website listed on this forum. Why the big price difference?

Kabar sells their knives at msrp and they give discounts to the retailers, so the retailer can sell them cheaper. They do this so the retailers don't have to compete with the manufacturer. If everyone sold at msrp there would be no reason to buy from a retailer. Its the way most manufacturers do it.

yeah, Ka-Bar sells knives on their website at manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) and to dealers at a significant discount. The dealers tack on whatever percentage they need to make a buck, and sell to the consumer.
