I thought that it would be useful for eveyone to have knife disassembly/assembly/maintainence resources all in one thread. These links/videos are ones that I have found to be useful. I will update this info regularly. Feel free to post your own resources and I'll add them to this post.

Hope this helps!

This looks like a great idea for a thread (dare I say, 'Sticky'? ;) ) in the 'Maintenance' forum, very thoughtful.

(I was particularly interested in the Opinel takedown, as I've recently been wondering about that. :) )

Thanks for the support :)
I too thought the Opinel takedown was interesting to watch. I've yet to get myself one but it's definately on my shopping list!

I was just linked to this from another thread, I will definitely subscribe to it.
Great compilation aznpos'!

Heh...I thought no one was using it and that it had sunk to the depths of the forum. Glad you found it useful. I've updated it with a few more resources that I've found.

edit: I'm curious to know which thread you came to this thread from.

Additional resources added from another BF thread here: Internal Link (Bladeforums.com) as well as some new vids.

Great thread dude - very useful and it's fun to check out the other knives.

Thanks brother!
It is really interesting to see the inner workings of knives. I've always loved tinkering ever since I was a kid. I've forgotten how many times I've been yelled at for dismantling various items around the house!! :D
