Hey all. I am trying to find a place that sells clear vertical knife display stands. These in particular go diagonal like statdium seating and usually hold 4-5 knives, and are made out of clear plastic.

I've searched several sites and found wood display boxes, and tiny upright holders for one knife, but not what I need. Anyone know where I can get these ? Thanks

Plexiglass is readily available at Home Despot. It's very easy to work with. You can cut it with a cheapie jig saw or Dremel tool, even a hand-powered key-hole saw (I call this "acustic sawing" and opposed to "electric sawing"). Even a cheapie file will clean up the fine curves etc. Use sand paper to finish the edges. There's a special glue you can get at Home Despot that bonds Plexiglass perfectly. You can use nice brass hinges and screws and angle brackets and so forth also available from Home Despot. Your first project will look like crap, but after a couple or three you can put up your own website and start selling 'em.

If you get a plexiglass bender (basically, a long 'rod' heating element - kinda like one out of an electric oven, but straight), you can do it even fancier, with bends instead of angle brackets to form the 'steps'.

Also, see if you can find someone who sells the acrylic sheet made by 'Cyro' - it's the best! (I might be biased, since I used to work for them, making the stuff)
