Hello. I'm relatively new to the forum and am just getting my bearings. Finding this forum has straight up improved the quality of my life. Thanks BF and so many great members for that.

I'm sure this topic has been covered. If so, please provide the link(s).

As I acquire more cool knives, mostly fixed blades, they pile up on the bottom of my gun safe in pouches and sheaths. It's ridiculous. I take them out all the time and clean them because it's fun, so they are in good health. But here's frankly only a handful that I use/carry. I'd love to display them on a wall in 2 or 3 cases, but the ones I've found are pricey and/or don't hold many. I've got roughly 30 knives but as you all know, I'm bound to acquire more.

I'm not set on a wall case either. I'm open to suggestions.

Please hit me with some ideas and ways you guys and gals store and display your prized and less-than-prized knives.

Thanks in advance!
bob

Bob, I found that second hand furniture stores are a good source for curio cabinets which work for me .
Wall hung displays and such are often for sale at flea markets.
Also some manufacturers sell multi knife displays that allow you to display a lot of knives in a small space.
Many hardware stores sell cutlery trays that are designed to lay flat in a kitchen drawer but can be used standing up
to display knives,I like the bamboo trays for folders.
Hope this gives you some ideas.

First of all welcome to the forums!
I'm not sure if any of the sponsored dealers sell knife display cases, so if not I should be ok with mentioning these two.
Check out cutlery corner .com ( yes the TV show that mostly sells cheap junk ) and smokey mountain knife works ( e knife works.com ) because they have some very affordability priced glass face wooden display cases.

I'm not sure if any of them have a way to hang them on a wall ( easy enough to mount picture hanging hardware to the back ) but I know they have some with fold out legs so they can stand up on a shelf.

First you should check any bf sponsored dealers for them.

Search the forums for "knife storage" you will find several dozen threads with all kinds of cool, inventive, and basic ideas on how to house your cutting tools. welcome aboard.

Welcome to the forums! I searched craigs list for tool storage cabinets like a car mechanic uses. Drawers are 2-3 inches deep and perfect for holding blades. Granted, not for display purposes but it also covers up my handguns (I have a CPL).

I think I'm going with a combination: tool box for users, wall mounted magnets for display/users, single knife cases or stands for individual bad asses worthy of track lighting (in my dreams at least).

Thanks to all for all the ideas. And thanks RevDevil for the polite redirect and teaching a man to fish.

Godspeed and Happy Forth of July!!
