Well crap, sometime this morning my xhp OD green recon 1 decided it was time for us to part ways. Checked all the fields I parked at before noticing it wasn't in my pocket anymore. Guess I'll be carrying my M390 contego for the rest of the summer until I can sneak another knife in under the wife's nose. Too bad too, I loved that thing, cut way better than my contego, lighter and held up to chopping out corn plants with no pivot adjustments all last year. Besides another tanto recon 1 any other suggestions for a similar folder under $200?? What knives have you guys lost?

I lost a Randall model 14 one time...still makes me kinda sick to think about, I dont like talking about it

Lost a Wayne Valachovic folder in forged O1 25 years ago. I still find myself looking for it. One that can be replaced is no big deal, one that can't sucks.

Lost my birthyear s/b CQC-8 until my son found it in a pocket of a pair of shorts destined for, and in fact in, the rag pile.

I have since aquired a replaceent and made a safe queen out of it.

Gave my son a brand new 940......he had it for 2 days before it disappeared.
😢😢😢😩😩😩

Luckily the only knife I've ever lost was a cheap Gerber I carried while in college. Though I lost it while on crutches of all things.

lost a stag gerber folding hunter once this was back in the days when the buck 110 or gerber FH, or the rigid apache ruled, i hope who ever found her gave her a good home

I "misplaced" a Buck 484 up in the attic somewhere 2 years ago while replacing all the insulation up there. I was using it to cut binding strings around batts of insulation. Had cut the strings on a dozen batts. After crawling around rolling the new insulation. When I went to cut binding strings on another batch, it was missing.

Several years ago. I lost a no name stainless steel lock back when it sank to the bottom of Lake Travis when boat capsized due to a 3 foot wake from a house boat.

I have a few that "disappeared" somewhere in the house, probably dropped into a box or a drawer - another Buck 484, a Buck 482, an Ontario Shiv, a couple of box cutters.

Im about to post a Valachovic folder for sale in the custom section. Was yours anything like this ?
