Well, thanks for your opinion, ThomM. I don't cast the blame on dealers as either... it's a multifaceted problem without any one, single cause.
While making a profit would be great, I'd settle for just making the site pay for itself right now. Do you have any suggestions on how we can keep this site open, continue to offer the same level of service, and yet never have anyone pay any money for it's use?
Failing that, do you have any suggestions about how we can be as fair and equitable as possible in distributing all of the charges (software, hardware, labor, operating) evenly, without making anyone unhappy?
Or is your perception of this just that we don't care about what you think, and just want to rake in as much money as possible? I'm interested in hearing what you have to say, but I'll clue you in - if you really think that, you haven't been paying close attention.
I guess some of you would rather we just shut down BladeForums.com instead of ever do anything to make it support itself.... but you can't please everyone.
I'm more than willing to open the doors for any and all viable solutions, folks. Let's hear them. I'm especially interested in any solutions you have, ThomM.
