I had never considered it before I got my 940BT, but do you have any knife fashion faux pas? The 940BT was the first clip-folder I've gotten that didn't have a black handle. I decided that it just didn't look right with a green handle, a black clip, and a satin blade. For this reason, I chose the BT coating. I know, I know, a lot of you guys hate the BT, but I don't mind it. Plus, I think the blade of a knife should match the clip. I know, that sounds weird, but your clothes have to match to some degree, right? So why not the parts of your knife? The black blade looks so good matching the black clip, contrasted by the green handle.

It's ok if the clip doesn't match the blade for me as long as it matches the handle.
Black clip, black handle, and satin blade = OK
Black clip, colored handle, and satin blade = faux pas
Satin clip, colored handle, and satin blade = OK

This is why I think the Lum Chinese really looks great with it's shiny clip but why the black clip on my pink cricket really annoys me.

So what do you consider knife fashion faux pas?

The kershaw multicolored boa with black clothing :)

and there's nothing worse than seeing a beautiful woman with a cheap chinese knife...

I know some people disagree, but I think those multi-colored boas are an eyesore no matter what the blade looks like.

Amen, brother, amen.

My only problematic knife is a certain LCC. With a black blade, titanium bolsters and a grey micarta handle about the only thing that matches is a set of black jeans--of which I have one pair that fit lousy! As for the Boa, my wife has one with the multi-colored handle. Seems to look okay on her. I do remember some multi-colored LUDT's that were worse.
