What everyday things make you think of knives? I'll start. I often pass a street sign "strop lane" makes me think of my leather belt. Two days ago, I passed "state route 881" made me think of a Buck/Strider. :eek:This one is a stretch, I know of a "Hinder lane" that one makes me think of the XM-18.;) OK, what have you got?

Every time I make a damn sandwich now, it makes me think of my numero uno favorite maker of all time, MAYO!!!! So now I gotta always ask for extra. Don't want to curse myself by uttering the dredded words "hold the mayo".
:D

That's a good one!:D

When you said "fever" - I thought "as in spending lot of money on...". That fever of mine is embarrassing, and gets close to dangerous sometimes.

I resent that remark but it sure is nice that you think of us Mayo':Ds
P.S. I know it's Tom and shure as hell not me but i had to bite on it!

how bad do I have it?.....i refuse to face issues that big. I just keeping grabbing what I want and hope all the worries go away.

It is cooling down here in Alabama, so every night when I go to bed I have to pull up the Covers, then it hits me, is the last Ray Cover I bought almost here, do I have enough money to snag another one on the secondary market? If I didn't have to go to bed, I could just stay on the BF waiting for another Cover to show up. Durwood, You have busted my bank account. If my wife finds out, I will be out from under the Covers with her and into the doghouse for sure.:D

I think we all have had "embarrassing" moments when it comes to our passion!:D

James, it's cooling down here also. (funny how we go from hot to cold) I'm not familiar with Ray Cover, but I know what you mean. The simplist things remind me of knife related things.

I've got it so bad that I've spent hours on the internet searching for a good folder in CPM M4 and/or S90V! Even sent an E-mail to Crucible!

Robert, I sure would like a Mayo. The closest I've gotten was a Buck/Mayo TNT.

These are but two of Ray's that I have scored recently.

I NEVER notice names and numbers ;), and buying a knife every month or so keeps me cool. No fever here!

One of these days, I'm going to "slip" onto the slippery slope of true customs. Then it will be bad for my credit card! Those are some nice looking knives James. Thanks for the pic.
