The first chapter of the audio version of my fantasy novel Asulon is
now on YouTube.
I've divided the 27 minute chapter into seven segments so they will be
easy to download. Part 5 has a knife fight based on Pekiti-Tirsia Kali techniques.
Each segment is paired with a different illustration from the novel.
The audio is done by veteran British actor James Brinkley.

You'll find the first segment of Asulon here:

You can also find it by entering Asulon into the YouTube search bar.

Thanks,
Bill McGrath

Neat.

Is the book itself available?

Oh, also, if you use the [ youtube] and [ /youtube] tags, you can put the id of the video between them and have it appear embedded on the page.

I just saw hardheart's post with the YouTube video within it. That is so cool! I didn't know you could do that here. I think you may have opened up the floodgates now that I have a new toy to play with.

The book itself is available on my website bundled with a Pekiti-Tirsia overview DVD.

Now I have to try my hand at embedding a video.

Bill McGrath

Well that didn't work. I copied and pasted from the YouTube embed box. What did I do wrong?

Thanks,
Bill McGrath

don't use the embed box, you aren't embedding to BF. just take the last bit of the page link after v= (but not &featured=related if it's there) and stick that gobbledygook between the tags like SP posted.

like [you tube]6Hy8ZXJckME[/you tube]
take out the spaces in the 'you tube's, and it'll work

Can you explain in step by step detail to a poor techie-white belt how this gets done.

Thanks,
Bill McGrath

Geez. Exactly what does this have to do with knife discussion.
