knife flipping

Howdy Gang,

I just read a article in Knives Illstrated on knife flipping.

Now, it brings up this question:

How many of you out there in knife-land fip their knives ???

I know I do, I know my 3 kids do. In fact,thats the first thing they do when they get a new knife,,, see if it flips open.

The article "Blasted Us" for abusing our knives.

So own up ladies and gents:
Who flips ??? and who doesnt ???
 
I flip em. If one fails, throw it away and don't buy from that maker agian. Who needs a POS that won't stand up?
 
I have found that a folder loosens up some but a well-designed folder can be tightened . I enjoy the one handed opening and if my flippin' wears them I find something tougher.
