This is the last of this billet and I thought this would be a good knife to use it on, as the customer wanted a classic D Lisch and asked if I would do my self portrait. Needless to say, this was a very fun knife to make. It was the last of the orders I took before Blade Show, I have already started making steel for those knives. I hope you like it John, and I am looking forward to seeing the sheath you make for it.

no need for a maker's mark with a butt like that!:D
Dave, I'll give you a call around 10?

I absolutely love it Dave! It really looks outstanding and I can't wait to get my hands on itI Needless to say, I'm gonna dress her up real nice!

Thank you All John I am glad you like it. You will have it soon and If any local folks want to see it before I send it to John on Monday I will have it on display at my blacksmith swap meet this saturday the 17 of july at my shop stop by if your in the hood.

Beautiful piece and classic Lisch for sure. I like everything about this one - pattern, profile, materials - all combine for a real winer in my books.

That's AWESOME Dave! And the face on the buttcap is way cool too. You are getting better at those faces with each one.

Looking good! The guy on the back of the knife could be better looking ;) hopefully next year I can make it to the swap meet. I hear good things.

Jon hope you make it next year too as well as the rest of the AKS family. Jeff the steel for your knife is made so if blacksmithing stays slow like it is now I will be done ahead of time. Thank you all again.
