Knife for holiday weekend?

I'm sorta planning some outings and day hikes this coming holiday long weekend. When I do pre-plan I like to settle on a knife that I haven't used much or at all. This gives me a true personal test of my knives and also helps me decide on keeping or selling them, as I really only keep knives I use or like to use.

Well this weekend it's my Osage Bush Hermit. I've had this one since the model was first released and have never even taken it out of the house.



Would like to see others do the same and share their feedback in this thread.

The bush hermit is my favorite mid-sized knife and I love the Osage on yours! It is a very well rounded blade for indoor and outdoor use. I look forward to hearing how it performs.

Man, that sounds like a very nice way to spend the weekend.

I do the same thing wrt trip planning. I'm kind if an ultra-geek and enjoy the planning almost as much as the trip, especially on a longer backpacker. Maybe it is because I just can't get out as often as I'd like to.
