Knife for my Dad

I've decided to get my dad a knife for Christmas. He currently has a CRKT Van Hoy Snap Lock 2 that he keeps on his key chain. I got a BM 940 a little while ago, and he loves they way it is so smooth and how nice the axis lock is.

I was thinking about an axis lock, and he wouldn't want anything with more than a three inch blade. That leaves me down to a BM 707 or 525. I personally think the 707 looks much better, but I'm not really sure which one he would like more.

Can you guys give some ups and downs of each knife? I couldn't find many reviews on either of them.

Thanks, and Merry Christmas! (and/or non-denominational holiday :D )

Oh yeah, forgot to mention the Griptillians. He's not a fan of plastic grips.

Yep, 707.

That is, unless you can find him a 705. That's really the way to go. Ancestor of/inspiration for the 707.

Peace.

I thought the 707 was kinda better than the 705.

It has a thinner handle, wider blade. I thought those were the only problems with the 705, thick handle, thin blade.
