Knife for sale with handle choice

Hi,
I have some blades ready for handles & would like to list them for sale with choice of handle material, etc. to be completed & shipped within 5 days. Is this acceptable in view of the rule requiring "for sale" items be in possession & ready to sell?

Yes. You're a Dealer, gives you some leeway. Even non-Knifemaker Dealers take pre-orders on production knives that manufacturers have promised them.

Also, given choice of materials, you can take orders even if the knives aren't assembled since the knives and handle materials are in your possession.

The rule came about with some Gold (individual) members selling items they traded for but hadn't received, and it turned out there was a problem with them.

Yes, I only intend to offer what's in stock so that I can get it shipped as promised. Thanks for the info!
