hi.
im a soldier and i have a considerable chance of getting into close quarter combat but i cant carry a fixed blade with me so i searching a folding knife with a nice slim profile and with a well design clip for concealed carry and with a grippy handel that will be ready for rapid deployment and will be well sutied for light(cutting ropes card boerd and so on) to mediumu(cutting canes and heavy duty ropes) utility task and self def tasks.
im kinda low on budget(already bught few knives for my collection) so i have 50 dollar to invest what do you have to offer at this price point?

Spyderco Endura.

You can get the flat ground or saber ground, with or without a wave, in black and full/partial/plain blade styles.

And just to actually add a productive answer here if this is legit, perhaps something like the Kershaw Ken Onion Blur. It's right at the top of your budget range, and checks off just about all the boxes of your requirements.

Better if you ask here, OP; the rest of BF is widely misinformed on this topic and/or likely to dismiss this discussion for reasons which are ultimately political in nature.

I have No Idea what type of "soldier" can't carry a fixed blade when in a hostile environment that might lead to a physical encounter where a life could be on the line...

Most COs have more to think about than who has what type of knife on them. On top of that, If They Did think of it at all, they would likely want the one that is the most effective and favorably affective readily available.

The Armed Forces budget is really getting cut down, huh? That is the Longest sentance/question I have ever read.

To point you in a general direction, look into the Emerson colaborations.

No worries. I actually agree with you.
it will be nice to know with what you agree

For $50 I'm not so sure. I would just get a fixed blade, but if you really want a folder check out Spyderco's budget lines or Kershaw.

Whatever you do, do NOT ask this in Practical Tactical unless you like being lectured on how rocket launchers are far superior to knives and how only a complete idiot would expect that a knife can ever do anything harmful to another person.

More likely he would be called out on the "considerable chance of getting into close quarters combat" as a "technician" in need of "rapid deployment" knife, and then lectured on the almost comical idea of using a knife (especially a folding knife) for your fighting in a military context where long guns are prevalent...

Anyways.
