Knife Forums Dictionary?

How would everyone feel about starting a KF dictionary to place somewhere in the KF FAQ section or something?

I've noticed from time to time that newbies often don't get some of our lingo and abbreviations and I just thought it would be cool to start a dictionary and stick it on the forum FAQ or somewhere like that and we could refer people to that place if they get confused.

What do you think?

Here's a few I can think of just off the top of my head:
knifesterbate
FS
PE
PS
LNIB
EDC
Necker
CF
TU/TD carry (tip up/tip down)

Please reply to this post if you agree (or not) that it's a good idea and if you do, include some other words or abbreviations you think people might not understand. Perhaps we can persuade the moderators to make a "DICTIONARY" page of terms.

Just an idea.
 
i think that would be a great idea. i know i was totally lost for awhile. however, it would be a bladeforums glossary. you're on the wrong site!! agrussel.com has a pretty good glossary already, though. but some of the acronyms commonly used here would be helpful to know. speaking of which, what is RKBA? others to include on the list are SE and CE. knifesterbate is the only term that i knew exactly what it meant the first time i read it. unless, of course, i'm missing out on something, and if i am, i want nothing to do with it!

It's just that you titled this thread Knife Forums Dictionary and then posted about adding it to the KF FAQ section. There is another forum that goes by the intials KF.

rotflmao The worst part is I didnt catch it till somebody else mentioned it. When you wander the forums it is easy to forget just where your at; flashlight posts here, knife posts in candlepower forums. At least the intent was there in the correct venue. knife lingo in a knife forum.Add in a drop or two of some fine beverage and snafus happen
 
I'm new to the boards and I think this is a good idea.
