So, I rented blood diamond last night and thought it was a good, Then I notice Leonardo had a Folder of some type, any know what it was. It had a tanto style blade, but it actually looked like a warn knife, Not sure if it had zytel, or a metal handle.

But anyone know?

I've not seen the movie, but someone on another forum thought it might be a CS Gunsite.

I thought it was an Emerson. I am pretty sure it was not a CS.

Also thought the handle was G10.

I saw it about 6 months ago.

Kinda thought that, do they come in a coated blade version aswell?

I don't know. My Cold Steel catalog doesn't show a coated version, so probably not.

I've never seen the movie, so I'm not sure. Anyone got a screenshot? It's entirely possible that it's just a $5 dollar folder the props guy picked up at the local sporting goods store.

Ok, scene "hidden stones" at 21:48 of the movie, their is a great shot of it.

I did a quick screen shot and upload at 21:49.

Ah, a picture's worth a thousand words. Without evidence to the contrary, I would say it's a Winchester.

Would you know what model by any chance?

Not sure without a clear shot of the handle or spine. If there is a swedge (there appears to be) and a flipper, I would say it's an "Engage Plus". If there's no swedge, then probably an "Enclose".

Yeah, the one first pic. And notice the wear marks are exactly where the winchester insignia abd labeling are. :D

Yeah. You know you look at too many knife pictures when you can pick out an exact model, of a common design, from a blurry underlit screenshot.:D

How the hell did you figure that out from that low res pic??? Impressive.

Also, I take it the Winchester is a cheapo foreign made knife?
