Knife from Brasil

My son bought me this knife when he was abroad, name is Taue, no name of steel but it is sharp.

is that it's an importer

and quite possibly, exclusively with chinese imports...
it's a cold hard fact that
china made knives are a global reality we can't escape from.
please continue to appreciate it as a thoughtful gift.

Thanks, it must be a Chinese import, and someone put a hand engraving on both sides of the handle, it differs on each side.
It is and was a great gift for me, thanks for your help.
 
Doesn't matter where it was made or where it came from. The main thing is that your son thought enough about you and your hobby/addiction/obsession to bring it to you. That you like it, is just gravy.
