Hi
Help me understand please .
I want to order a hunting knife from Europe.
1. What should be the documents for the legal import and use in the United States.
2. What are the prohibitions in size, thickness of the knife?
3. Do I have foid card for storage and use a knife?
4. What are the storage and transportation to hunting knife?
5. Do I need to register which has more than 3 inches as the gun?
Sorry for the simple question, but I just start my hunting story.

You do not need anything special whatsoever to order/import a fixed blade knife from Europe or any other country in the world. There no limits to size, no registration, none of that. That would be stupid, after all we have knives in our kitchens that have blades a foot or more long, and I guarantee you most are made outside the US (China mostly, but also Japan, Germany, Italy, Sweden). Only thing is when the person sending it fills out anything for Customs, they just put "cutlery" or "tools."

The US only has laws about importing switchblades or the now nearly-extinct ballistic knife (shoots it's blade off). Everything else is fair game for private ownership. Yes, most states have laws on carrying knives, but that is a totally separate issue and depends what state you live in.

thank you very much for answer, but there or here?... " no limits to size, no registration, none of that"...

Knife laws in the US are primarily state laws, not Federal, and differ by state and sometimes by city within the state. They cover carry but rarely cover ownership. Keep it at home and its no problem, take it hunting and it has to meet the local requirements. Size restrictions are similarly a matter of local law.

You have to ask about each locale specifically. There are no laws about registering knives. Some jurisdictions allow concealed carry of certain knives by permit, like concealed carry of firearms. A jurisdiction like New York City insists on concealed carry, it is illegal to allow a knife to be seen.

oooo sorry, i am from Illinois..

In Illinois, the only knives that are illegal to possess (aka own) are switchblades and throwing stars.
Regarding carry, the statute says it is illegal if a person:
(2) Carries or possesses with intent to use the same unlawfully against another, a dagger, dirk, billy, dangerous knife, razor, stiletto, broken bottle or other piece of glass, stun gun or taser or any other dangerous or deadly weapon or instrument of like character;

Dagger and dirk typically refer to double edged knives, "razer" is a old-timey straight razor, and "dangerous knife" is not defined.

My personal interpretation of this is that it is your intent (which knife type contributes to) that determines illegality rather than the knife itself.
