Remember in Faceoff when John Travolta pulled out that awesome knife and gave it to his daughter??? I don't know much about knives, but I am trying to figure out what kind of knife that was and where I can buy one like it. I think it is a butterfly knife. We had an extensive discussion of that movie and its knife on here not to long ago. You should be able to dredge that thread up using the history feature.
The "awesome" knife is a charming China cheapie butterfly knife the likes of which get removed from eBay everyday.
Seriously, if you want one, they are readily available and about $10. There's a very fine Parker with great brass handles left in the Shameless Commerce Division of my website, the last of the current sale. I'm gonna put it up to auction if it doesn't sell soon, so you might want to look fast.
