My dad brought this knife from overseas a few years ago and back then i wasn't really into knives. But recently I've grown curious about it and it seems to be handmade. I really don't expect much but any information would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Kidd

It is a Kukri knife. I don't know much, but yours looks like it is not a "working" knife but one made for the tourist trade. You can ask a moderator to move this to the Bernarnd Levine Identification/collection subforum where you may get better answers. Just click on the triangle in the lower left corner of your post and ask the moderator to move your thread.

I agree with brownshoe. I have a friend here who has one similar. Looks like a tourist trade kukri.
