knife from the film "Seraphim Falls"?

User piece or more like a prop knife?

What are some better choices in this size range?

Muela makes good knives. They range from $20 cheapies to $1500 or more. Steel is "Moly-Vanadium" (read as 440A or B) so it's no INFI. That particular knife is a stick tang in a stag handle, so bearing that in mind, I wouldn't beat on it or chop with it, but imagine it would make a fine user otherwise.
