I thought I'd better put "question" in the title or y'all would get really ticked off when you read this...

There was a knife giveaway here sometime in the past 6 months I think and I am trying to find the knife and maker. It may have been more than 6 months ago.

It was the perfect little personal small around knife.

It was a real sweet little black handled kind of blunt clip point with no more than a 3-4" blade. Simple, clean and sweet. I believe the model was called the "Hunter" by the maker. I don't the maker gets very much press on here but his knives sure looked nice on his site.

I think the maker's first name was Tom - maybe?

Anyway - if this rings a bell - would someone please let me know? Feel free to post a picture, too - that would be great. Thanks much.

Maybe Michael Morris- awesome knifemaker

I just tried to find the website for Michael Morris and it appears to be down. Anyone have any info him and/or prices of his stuff?

His prices are very reasonable....I think those I just posted are around $100.00 (maybe a little less) His blades are 1095 files.

Oh baybeee - but - nope. Those are hot but I don't like hollow grinds.

This was similar - but it was a FLAT ground blade.
And much simpler but quite attractive in its simplicity and very well done.
He did not offer many different models but this one could be had plain and a little jazzier. With and without a sheath. I think.

I do think his first name was "Tom". Keep tryin'....

If someone was really bored, they could check back through my postings because I know I said something in that giveaway thread about how this looks like my "perfect small knife."

Thanks guys!

Crap. Now I can't find an active link for hargisknives.com.

Anyone have current info on him?

Anyone? Bueller?

Thanks, Guys. I really love that blade. I remember looking at his website and lusting over it. Now it looks like he is not making them anymore... I will email him.

If anyone has one of these that's just lying around, gathering dust - please feel free to send it along to me... :D
