Hm. I posted a giveaway, but I have only two participants, and it ends tomorrow.

Here are the rules I posted 1. It lasts seven days. 2. Participants must have 3 months on BF, and 2. Participants must have a paid subscription.

Was I too restrictive?

Not at all, man. I seemed to have missed it when you initially posted your thread and actually just entered. It's a cool looking knife!

I dont think so it's their loss thats a beautiful knife. You could always extend it I know it wouldn't bother me if you did Thanks again for the giveaway.

I guess General Knife Discussion is a fast-moving forum, so a lot of people missed it.

Thanks for the feedback, esp. the kind remarks.

I saw it, but no entry here. My membership expired, and I have not re upped.

Some times they just fly under the radar.

I really like the rules! Too many times there's a giveaway and it's swamped by first posters who never post again until another giveaway. Great idea!

Hey Squid,

Not sure how a giveaway works exactly but I visited your FB site and like the work you do. I use a small custom fix blade for dressing and skinning game and find it much easier than trying to use those huge bowies and others that some hunters carry. I like the skeletonized tang to cut down the weight and help balance the knife.

I'll take 88

I guess I should say it is too restrictive (since I don't have a subscription:(), but I don't think it is. YOUR knife YOUR rules.
As others mentioned, people probably just missed. I didn't know about it until I saw this thread.

I see where you called it the Not-Completely-Ugly Puukko Giveaway.
It may not be the 'prettiest', but it is still a pretty good looking knife and if it does the job well that is all that matters.

The generosity of the members here can sometimes be overlooked, but it never goes unnoticed. Thank you for the generosity in doing a giveaway.

Sometimes the traffic pushes the thread part the first page very quickly and people miss the OP.

You can always make a comment on your own post and it kicks it to the top again where others will see it.

Thanks for the generosity, I've done a few giveaways where there were no people entered, then there are other members who post "not an entry" but want to acknowledge the OP's generosity giving other members a better chance.

Now I'm off to see your giveaway thread. :)

Well, I don't play by the mans rules, so that counted me out.

I'll take 415...thanks for the chance!

:D

Good luck to the entrants..Its a great looking knife and a generous giveaway.
