Knife Giveaway?

when I got my new BF Native, I sent in the registration card to let the Spyderfolks know how much I like their wares.

and the Card said it would be entered into a drawing for a knife. (we always want to win a knife!)

So: what knives have been given away? and has a forumite ever won one?

Hello,

Spyderco began putting warranty cards in our packaging in 1997. We have had a winner every month since. The month in which you purchased the knife, is the month your entry is entered. I don't know if any of those winners were Forumites though.

Funny story...unbeknownst to the administrator of the contest (Angela), one of the warranty card winners last year was an un-named "top dog" at Kershaw. hahaha

Wonder if "top dog" uses it/them. May have a closet Spydie owner there. At least he/she shows good taste.

Yup. Spyderco gives away a knife a month in our warranty card drawing. Went back and looked up everything awarded so far....C09 Co-Pilots to Police Models. Someone at Kershaw has a nice Michael Walker Lightweight in their pocket!

well, it's certainly a great incentive to mail in the warranty card, but also a nice way to say "thanks for choosing Spyderco!"

funny, I wasn't as excited at the prospect of winning a year's supply of vacuum bags for sending in the warranty card for the new Hoover...
