Maxpedition Gear!

WHO: Knife Gurus
Are knives your passion, your hobby, your obsession? Do you spend hours
researching, comparing, and discussing your favorite brands, styles, and
features? Then 2 The Hilt is looking to reward you for your infatuation
with cutlery.

WHAT: We are adding a buyer's guide / knife information section to our
website. This section will feature articles written by knife experts,
customers, and gurus like you. We are looking for top-notch detailed
write-ups of knife specifics as well as general buying guides for the
newcomers to the knife world. Credit will be given to the author unless
requested to be left anonymous. These are not to be Testimonials of
2 the Hilt; in fact, we really don't even want to be referred to in the
write-up.

A few examples:

General
* What type of knife should I buy for camping, climbing, biking,
law enforcement, active duty military, search and rescue, etc ... ?
* How much should I spend on a knife, what is worth my money?
* Should I buy a manual, assisted opening, or automatic knife?

Specific
* Tanto or Recurve?
* Microtech DLC or Black-Tact.?
* Double-Edged or Single?
* Emerson Wave or no Wave Feature?
* Fixed or Folder?
* Serrated or Plain?
* Be Brand Specific- Why would you go with one over the other?
* S30V or 154CM?
* Stainless or Not?
* Production or Custom?

Think of a question you have had and had answered by a friend or fellow
forum poster,
No matter what you want to share, someone probably has asked the
question at one time or another and we want to be there with an answer.
