Knife Habits Rubbing Off On Others?

So I come into the bedroom to see my ladyfriend asleep clutching a gerber machete...I hope I didn't do anything wrong!! Anyhow, I'm proud of her even though its not very practical. Have any of those close to you gotten more comfortable with bladesby being around you?

I've been known to fondle a favorite knife or three while falling asleep only to wake up knowing there's a sharp edge lost somewhere in the covers. A sheathed machete is easy to keep track of while in bed and handy when the creepers come around. Smart lady right there.
