knife handle--straight/curved etc PLEASE

Hey can yall advise me about knife handles im making a short parang type knife and would REALLY like some advise on straight handles vs curved type handles--THANKS

I like a bit of handle curve on blades longer than 9".

As seen above . Parang is mostly a chopper and needs to have a handle that prevents it from flying forward from the hand .

A distal swelling is good . IMO .

It's about 7-8"
It's like a kukri-parang hybrid,,i just let it take its own shape as a beat the heck out of a leaf spri g,,,,it looks pretty decent so far,,,,so far,,knock on wood
