Hey Everyone

I was just curious about the screws on knives, what is the best material to make knife screws out of ? ive heard that Chris reeve and Kizer both use 300 series stainless but im not sure, What about 420 stainless for screws ?
I appreciate all feedback and have a great day !

420 machines poorly.
And the 303/304 stainless - which make great screws due to the added sulfur which aides machinability - have about 50% more chromium than the martensitic stainless steels - like 420 - making them much more corrosion resistant.
They chose those steels for their screws wisely.
