Knife/hatchet combo worth anything

Hi,

Sorry if this is in the wrong section of this forum. This is my first post here and I don't know anything about knives. I collected knives when I was about 10 years old and my dad bought me a knife/hatchet combo that was fairly expensive at the time. { ... }

The set is a Coleman Western Axe-knife combination W6610. It is in fairly pristine condition since I never used it. I have the box (not so pristine) and the original cardboard blade cover for the knife (can't find the one for the hatchet). I got it in the early '80's maybe late '70's.

Thanks for any comments or feedback.

Regards,
Jeremy

A knife gifted from father to son is a sacred thing.

Gotcha! No, didn't plan on selling it because I totally agree with you . I may pass it along it to my son though since he has started collecting knives. I was just wondering if it had gained in value any. Like I said, I don't know much about knives anymore and I just wondered if something in that good of condition had an increased value.

Thousands of them out there, "increase in value" of production knives won't buy you a decent cheeseburger.
But it's a good set for using. You'll both get more value out of it on a hike. :)
