Knife heading to the US

My latest piece of work, a custom order of a fellow forumite.

He's going to use it in the field (judging from the pics of his EDC knifes he's really going to use it hard :)).

But he wanted it ground real thin with a 10 degree edge. So this is propably one of the sharpest knife's I ever made.
The clip is also sharpened.

For a more comfortable handling all tang edges were chamfered, hard to see on the pics.

This knife made me cursing big time on several occasions :D.

But it turned out quite good in the end.

I hope the new owner is happy with it too.

Some Specs:

Steel: 4 mm 1.2842 (O-2), differentially hardened
Handle: G10 overlays attached with torxscrews and JB Weld
Lenght: 24 cm, 11 cm on the handle

Looking forward to your opinions.

I kinda like it... maybe I'll get one. ;)

Can't wait for it to get here.

Is the small choil on the top edge for ease of sharpening?
Yup.

As Marcus mentioned, the edge and the clip primary bevels terminate only 1mm apart, so this is going to be a very sweet cutter, and, as Marcus knows his stuff, quite durable.

I tend to use my knives to the ppoint of abuse, so I tend to be fond of production pieces, but the advantage of getting a custom knife is getting exactly what you want - for me, this knife might well be the last word on the mid sized fixed blade.

You "Europeans" (you, Ansø, Kevin Wilkins) are killing me with those precise grinds! Sheesh! Beautiful knife! Looks very comfy and user-friendly. Great work!

I really like that knife a lot. The design looks about perfect for a mid sized field knife.

 HOLY CR@$ Nothing wrong with the fit and finish on that one, is there ??? Marcus, you sure know how to create some beautiful lines. Heres one knife with G10 and screws on the handle that actually looks elegant ! Two thumbs up. Jason.

Didn't intended to bring back an old topic to bright daylight, but I just have to thank you all for your nice words concerning my work :).

And getting comments like these from fellow makers (which work I really admire btw :D), give the whole thing a special feel to it.

I apologize for this late answer but I just seem to have a tendancy going on, that makes me forget that I made posts I would like to reply to .

Best regards, Marcus

That is a killer design. That thing looks incredible! That would make an excelent urban defensive knife or a short utility. Very nice pictures too.
