I found a Busse model I "need" on knifehunter.com. Is this a reputable dealer of authentic Busse knives? Does anyone have any experience buying from these guys?

Yes --- he's about as reputable as it gets. He's not licensed by Busse ---- but then again no one is. I've bought several from him and I recommend you going for it. He's also a really nice guy who is pretty well versed in all things Busse/Bussekin

Knifehunter is a reputable dealer. He is also a moderator on this forum. I am fairly new to busse and while a few models have popped up on his page that I wanted but the stars have not aligned with those and my funds however I have picked knifehunters brain on some models I'm interested in and he has been extremely helpful. I say buy with confidence

Knife hunter is the man.... Very helpful and he's not price gouging like most of the fleabay people. But with confidence...

What you looking at?

Trevor is a stand up guy and a true HOG... I wouldn't hesitate one bit!

Trevor is an awesome guy! He's been a Busse Hog for a very long time. You will be more than happy dealing with him IMO.

next question. Do my children really need a college education? Because if I buy an $800 knife they won't be going. Thanks for the info on Knifehunter good to know there are reputable dealers out there. It's only money right?

Education last only as long as you remember what you've learned ---- INFI LASTS FOREVER

Next Question . . .

You fellas are making a lot of sense. I knew I wasn't crazy for wanting to spend $800 on a knife. Thanks guys

Have not bought anything from him. Yet.

He has a great reputation, and is, by all reports, a stand up guy...

I bought my Gladius from Trevor years ago, the deal went smoothly. No problem. If you "need" the blade go ahead ;)

T is a great guy, and I'd do business with him anytime (and have repeatedly in person here in Northern Virginia). Just be careful not to walk under any tree in which he's sitting - but that's another story)

I sold another make of knife to him. Great guy. No issues whatsoever.
