Knife ID, anyone?

I recently picked up this knife at a local shop, and can't ID the maker. Closest possible I've seen is one of the Frizzell 'skull crusher' model, although the picks on their site show only one lanyard hole. Only markings on it, is one of the pins on the handle has 'DV8' on it. Sorry for the small pics. Any help out there? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that is a Mineral Mountain Hatchet Works model. DV8 was/is Ted's touchmark for items that are outside his normal portfolio. It sure looks like his usual crappy kydex work, too.

RBMCMJR...thanks for the input, at least I knoe I got a decent blade then. Do want to improve the sheath tho'.
Charlie Mike...You really did good work on it. I work on post here, so don't get to carry it a lot. It's pretty impressive when I do pull it out (glad I don't live in L.A. when I do carry it). Still really like it. I also liked your 5.11 karambit wave idea, did mine up (not quite finished). Like it much better now.
