My dad found this old pocket knife, he thinks was my Grandpa's. It's a 2-blade folder with what appear to be plastic scales. The first blade is a slipjoint. The second blade has a liner lock, and seems to be a screwdriver or chisel tip. "camco" appears on the tang, through the rust.

Any idea what we're looking at here?

Next to a Case Peanut for scale.

Looks like a trusty old TL-29 electrician's knife by Camillus (CAMillus Cutlery CO=CAMCO). Lotsa love for these over in the Traditionals subforum. Great to find one with history!

Thanks Kbrasmodeler! My Grandfather was a mechanic for over 50 years, and a landlord/super for much of that time as well. I'm sure he found lots of use for an electrician's knife.

I would suggest looking at the sticky in Traditionals, listing Jacknife's tales, and read the one about "Paul's TL-29". Then read the other 3,829 stories he's written. Great stuff!
