Knife ID help please

Not unusual. The shield is not uncommon either.
I understand the shield design may be common . Was curious if there was any info about the maker.
Smith Coho & Co
Tried to goggle some info but came up blank.

I dont think either knife is common. The larger knife appears to be made between 1915 and 1920

That is probably not a maker, it is a retailer or distributor. Which is why we see the different names on the knives.

According to my Houston Price Guide (15th Ed.) the brand of Continental Cutlery Co was in Kansas City MO and was owned by Clark Bros. (I assume a hardware house). Manufactured from 1915 to 1920. I don’t know about the NV unless Clark Bros. moved to Nevada or had a Nevada branch. The reference you need is Goins and I don’t have a copy. OH

I did find some info. Possibly.
