Low resolution, dark, out of focus, lots of glare.....can't see any markings, can't tell if its real damascus or etched, etc......Could be a $10 Pakistani knife with fake or cheap damascus and dyed camel bone, or could be an expensive custom with a complex pattern welded blade and mammoth handles..... better pictures would help.

Pretty sure it's your computer/laptop. Pics are sharp and clear on my end.

I'm also pretty sure that you won't be able to identify this knife even with different (not necessarily "better") pictures, so don't give the new guy a hard time. The pics provided are absolutely fine for someone who might know what this knife is, to identify it.

How would you know what I can or can't identify?
Better pictures are always better.....and he said he would post them if needed, and they are needed......now stop the crap posting and move on.....

Thanks for the help. I took some fresh photos. One shows the initials on the blade more clearly. No other markings on the tang. The knife has a very nice black leather sheath which looks like it was custom made as well. I think my father in-law would have bought this in the mid-2000's at the latest. From old paperwork it seems he bought and sold most of his knives through Gary Levine Fine Knives www.levineknives.com but that site is not up anymore.

Gotta love this forum.

W waroo14 This is no doubt made by Cliff Parker. That’s for sure his makers mark and it’s a great knife to own. You can reach out to him and he will be able to give you all the info you may need on it. Check him out on Instagram, he has much better pictures than his website does. (Theres a link at the bottom of his main page for it)

I will say, making that style of damascus takes a lot of work….a lot. Not sure what he calls it but you can see stars, UFO’s, moon, suns, planets, etc. Each symbol is it’s own billet of steel, then they are cut and combined mosaic style. Extraordinary!

Same style, same exact makers mark, yeah, I'd say that's as definitive as it gets.
