Knife ID please.

Can anyone tell me about this knife, got it from an Australian bloke, I think he bought it in Oz.
Cant realy make out any writing on it, any help welcome.

My google-fu isn't turning up any matches. It's possible that it's a garage/shop made knife to capitalize on the Crocodile Dundee craze in the 80's.
 
All I could Google up is a similar knife on Australian ebay, a Leisure Mountain Products Indiana S10000. That's it.
 
I remember both of the blades being in the Atlanta Cutlery Catalog a LONG time ago. Maybe 20 years? They were in the same section as the Indiana Jones Khyber Bowie (remember that one?) and some other movie knives. I want to say that it's a 420J2 blade steel, but I'm exactly sure on that. I also think that the small blade was in the $30-$40 range, and the bigger knife (the ebay link) was something like $60.
 
I had one I bought at a gun show in the 80s. I think it was called the Jungle Ranger or some such. There was a larger version with a 12" blade that is still being offered under various names. The knife held up pretty well, but edge retention was not that good. I suspect it is 420J2. But that does not make it useless. I used mine quite a bit. It just needed frequent touch ups on the edge. It never broke or rusted.
