I recently finished re-handling one of my Buck knives & I have some questions on it. My main question is what type of steel was used. However, since the model # is now covered (I wrote it down, but can't for the life of me remember where 
), I need some ID help to. If memory serves, the knife is from the late 80's. At the time Buck had a line of fixed blades with the same blades as there traditional knives, but with rubber (krayton?) handles. Mine has a Pathfinder blade. I think the model # started with a six. Any help with the model and the steel would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
