Knife Identification/blade signature

First post. Someone was kind enough to direct me to this site, and now I probably won't get anything done today.

I'm trying to identify the maker of a knife I have. There is a short signature, starting with a B at the base of the blade, but I can't make out the name. This certainly seems like the place to find out.

I read the instructions for attaching an image, but the directions reference a Browse button that does not exist here. I see the add image Icon, but that asks for a url link to an image. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

You can send the picture(s) to me and I'll post it/them for you if that is easier for you.

Pictures will be a great help but before you proceed further you may want to consider starting a thread on this in the Bernard R. Levine forum. BRL can probably help you better on the ID of an obscure knife.

By the way. Welcome the knife forums.

My picture web host server has been down all day so I'm doing this for the first time using 'Manage attachments'. Let us hope it works to get these across.

I realilze that you already identified the knife in question. I just figured it was worth showing off this Boye Dendritic drop point.

By the way let me know the results of the magnet test. I would be interested in finding out if this one is the dendritic steel or dendritic cobalt version.

That link doesn't appear to be working for me Keith. Is it typed in there right? Cuz I'd like to see some of his upper class knives.

Yeah that worked. That is odd. Don't know what to make of that but I did get to see the Boye knives. Nice stuff. I figured there would be etching involved with David's high end knives.

Thanks Keith.

They must have been down temporarily because the link works now just fine.
