Knife identification please

Morning y’all I need help identifying this knife I inherited from my grandfather a couple years ago. I’m thinking early rough rider maybe. The is R R on the tang stamp

Not Rough Rider, looks like it might be a custom to me? I can think of at least one famous RR, though it's not necessarily his

My grandfather did have several customs including a beautiful RJR skinner that my dad now owns. Couldn’t find any info online figured maybe I would pick some brains here
