So hey guys, this is my first forum post here. Anyways, so I was working in the shipyard and I bought a really nice knife from this dude for $20, and it has become my favorite for EDC, because it has a nice balanced weight to it and strikes the perfect balance for Slim and functionality, however it completely lacks any kind of branding, which while is good for looks, makes it difficult for me to look up should I ever need to replace it. I was wondering if any one of you guys could appraise it for me.

All I have for specs is that it's a Chinese blade of 440 steel assist open drop point and completely blacked out

This is an 8$ knife without a brand as it comes in a plain silver box that says super knife on it.
You can probably find this knife with a brand on it though, check the local flea markets.

if you think this is a great knife you would be overly amazed with a name brand knife, tho may cost a tad more than $20... but 440c will cut stuff when sharpened.

I assume this was bought in a gas station.

The blade shape and pocket clip are an exact match for a wood handled linerlock from Walmart. While I've not seen that particular model on Walmart, I'll bet it is from the same factory in China.

I see, and yes I know how amazing some of the brand name knives are, even on the cheap end, I certainly enjoyed my SOG Fielder, and my Ken Onion Ripple.

And my bad Insipid Moniker, I misused "appraisal" and just meant to identify the knife. and the link you sent me is apparently only for gold members, not something I plan on being.

in the long term, I plan on getting much nicer blades such as the SOG Vulcan Tanto or SOG Tomcat.

but for now, great blade to get me going, and thanks everyone!
