Bought a very well made custom fixed blade knife on auction, It is supposed to be made in Montana, But I don't know who the maker is, Can someone ID the tang makers mark so I can sort this knife out with who the maker is, Here is a photo of the tang as best as I could take, It's like a sword with a S, or maybe TS, Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Tony

Your photo seems to be linking to a webmail account which no one else will be able to see. Try uploading it to an image sharing site like Imgur and linking to that using the 'Image' button

I registered with Imgur, reposted 2 photos of the knife and tang, Let me know if they are showing now,
Thanks!

Photo showing, and pretty sure I have seen that marking before but cannot access who it is from my Brain Housing Group. Another reason why makers should have a clearly recognizable mark, like their name. John

The close up is way out of focus . Better photo might help some ! :)

I can imagine it's a caduceus with a "S" to make a $ sign . o_O

Looks a lot like the marking of Carl Sontag, of Eugene, OR, but I cannot remember Carl making a big knife like yours. John

Sure does look like it!, Thanks for the lead, Sure blows the seller's Montana Custom Knife out of the picture!
Thanks Again!
Tony
Of course , just because a knife LOOKS the same , doesn't necessarily mean it is or there could be no fakes / clones .
