Can someone tell me what the knife is on the left side, 4th from the top with the copper handle and composite blade? Really cool knife, but i am unable to find the model anywhere online by looking up Kershaw Composite Bladed Knives.

And it appears that Thomas is holding a similar version? Doesn't look like a copper handle in the pic, but the "drip" patterned composite is the same.

Those, and a Kershaw Offset with the black blade and splash aluminum handles, as well as a Spyker are on my to-do list....Now i just gotta find them and the funds to bring them home.

Thanks,
Jason

That's the original Tyrade. They had some blades left over that they classed as seconds, but decided to put out a low-cost version with flat G-10 handles in different colors.

You guys rock, now i just have to do some research and be on the lookout. Any idea what they went for originally? Do you see them for sale ever? My knife budget is slim, so i need to figure how long i will be saving to be able to afford one when and if they pop-up.

Thanks guys!!!

That was friggen fast!

Theyre not cheap, and non-blems aren't very common (just coming from what I have seen on the exchange and such)

Yep, Tyrade model 1850.
I agree the 2nd picture looks like it has a different type of handle. It's definitely not the models with g10 scales because they didn't have any inlays. Probably some prototype?

Thanks guys, looks like it will be a post Christmas purchase, but i'll keep an eye out on the bay, and that forum post.

That Tyrade variation in the 2nd image was a proto that never was produced.

I seem so it now hails in the hallowed Kershaw museum

That, or Thomas' upper left desk drawer, and is now your letter opener.

Nonetheless, a beautiful knife that is "on the list" now.....the production version obviously....probably a blem after Christmas when the CFO releases the funds.
