Im not one to post about issues often, but Im aibt annoyed atm. I was having problems with my Manix 2 and I decided to send it in for repair at spyderco...I have never sent a knife in to any company besides Benchmade( pretty good turn around time) and I was reluctant to send it in, but the rep I talked to said for my repair it would only be about 2 weeks so I though what the hell and shipped it off. well...that was about 5 weeks ago. unfortunately I misplaced my USPS tracking receipt, but as per usual I sent it 2 day shipping Priority. I called them up twice about a week and a half ago but I guess they were closed due to bad weather so no answer. I called again acouple days ago and finally got to speak to a real person and they were very nice! He told me that for some reason my knife didnt even get processed for acouple days and that its been finished and sitting in limbo for abit. Basically he said he wasnt sure what was going on with it, but he would give me a call back the following day...well its been acouple of days haha
I dont blame him! He genuinely sounded concerned and was willing to help. Possibly my phone number was mismatched or something, but basically I still have no idea where my knife is.
TLDR:
Sent my knife in about 5 weeks ago
was told it would take 2 weeks
called but got no where
still have no idea what happened
aka knife is lost at sea.

This entire experience has only reaffirmed what I had thought before about sending knives in for repairs.
Ill give them another call again today...maybe its actually shipped..
And let me be clear..I have no hate towards spyderco or their staff. The rep I spoke to was quite awesome and I will never stop buying spydies haha
I know there must be reasons this situation has happened and honestly I just want my baby back
Im not shocked considering how unlucky I usually am anyways :D

Anyone have this happen before? Just curious if this is unusual. I dont care about the wait time as much as I care about not knowing what happened to my knife.
MODS: if I posted this in the wrong area please move me! Thank you!

thanks!

don't know how to say it.

with alot of reworks.

I sent mine in for a work as well... It's been 4 weeks now, I guess it's time for me to call them as well.
